Cancellation and Refund Policy

This page sets out how cancellations and refunds work for tours booked on taxuavietnam.com. It follows our Booking Terms, which remain the full terms of your booking.

1. Free cancellation up to 21 days before

Every tour on this site includes hotel nights. Cancel up to 21 days before your scheduled pickup time and everything you have paid is refunded to your original payment method, normally within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

2. From 21 to 14 days before

50% of the hotel cost of your booking is charged, because the lodge holds the rooms for you. We tell you that amount in writing and refund the rest of what you have paid.

3. Within 14 days of departure

Within 14 days, including no-shows, 30% of the tour price is kept as the deposit, because the car, guide and rooms are already committed. If you paid in full, we refund the other 70%. If you paid the 30% deposit and planned to settle the rest in cash on the day, the deposit covers the charge and nothing more is due.

4. Changing your date

Date changes are free up to 21 days before departure, subject to availability.

5. If we have to change or cancel

If the authorities close the road or a natural disaster makes the tour impossible, you choose a full refund or a new date. In heavy rain or under a landslide warning your guide swaps stops at the same price or you can move the date free, with no partial refund. Cloud is never guaranteed, and a clear or misty dawn is not refunded.
